Posi-flate

Posi-Flate's unique butterfly valve design uses air pressure to expand the seat against the disc, providing for a bubble-tight seal every time. Because the seat makes only casual contact with the disc, there is minimal disc impingement. Less disc impingement minimizes shaving of the seat, increasing the performance and life of the valve. Because less torque is required to open and close the Posi-Flate butterfly valve, a smaller actuator can be used, resulting in lower overall valve cost.

In comparison tests and documented field applications, the Posi-Flate butterfly valve has outperformed all others. Several options are available, including a series for heavy duty use and an all-stainless-steel series ideal for powders, granules, slurries, and liquids. Posi-Flate offers replacement parts for their butterfly valves.

Available in light-weight impact resistant nylon, the Magna Flow Control Valve offers superior strength and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for use in hundreds of different applications. An easy-to-read micrometer dial offers an amazing 1100 precise set points to accurately control flow of gases or liquids. The high CV of the Valve enables very high flows with the Series 608 and lower flows with the Series 700 or 808 for whatever media is being controlled, up to 200 PSIG pressure or full vacuum. Linear flow characteristics provide easy to set and precise metering of gases and liquids for almost any application where accurate results are required.

The Posi-Flate Control Assembly consists of three major components: the solenoid valve, the central manifold, and the seat sensor cartridge. The solenoid is available in numerous electrical voltages and can be configured so that the butterfly valve is normally open or normally closed. Clean, dry air at 80 to 115 PSIG is supplied to the solenoid air supply port. The central manifold provides direct mounting to the actuator and contains a regulator to control seat pressure and a gauge that reflects the actual seat pressure. The seat sensor cartridge monitors the position of the actuator and automatically inflates or deflates the seat as required. The Control Assembly meets NEMA 4, 4X, 7, 9, and 12 requirements.

The Double Dump Valve Assembly by Posi-Flate is a low-cost and low-maintenance alternative to the traditional rotary airlock feeder and provides a positive seal that can accommodate either full vacuum or pressure up to 100 PSIG. The air-operated seat inflates to provide a long-lasting, high-integrity seal and easily handles high cycling of dry granular or fine powdered materials.

The seat automatically compensates for wear when it inflates against the disc, extending valve life considerably. Valve Assembly is available in carbon steel and stainless steel in sizes from 2-inch (50mm) to 30-inch (750mm) diameter and in any length desired. Other materials of construction are available upon request.

The Gravity Diverter Valve diverts gravity flows of dry bulk solids into two or three different directions, depending on the model. The Valve is designed to handle materials that may be cohesive, dusty, and/or abrasive. Its interior features smooth surfaces that provide for optimum unobstructed flow of material. A tight seal between the diverter flop gate and the sidewalls prevents possible leaks when material is discharged. Because a high life cycle pneumatic rotary actuator rotates the flop gate into position, there are no external moving parts. A large hatch enables easy access for inspection or maintenance of the internal components.

The VMAX Linear Vibrator operates with low noise levels and high force outputs and accommodates the most demanding of applications. The VMAX vibrator is suitable for many different applications, including vibratory conveying, vibratory compacting and discharging of either dry or wet difficult to handle bulk solids from bins and hoppers. Special end mounts, dual ports and a totally enclosed housing make it one of the most unique linear vibrators on the market. With a state-of-the-art piston design, the VMAX linear vibrator does not require a spring to start and is centrifugally balanced, which prolongs the life and increases the force output over conventional models. The VMAX vibrator comes in a variety of sizes to suit almost every application, big and small.

Designed for exceptionally long life as a remote pilot operated air pressure regulator, the Posi-Flate Series 473 Regulator is a high-flow regulator providing rapid and accurate response to changes in pilot pressure. Thanks to balanced design of internal components, it keeps constant outlet pressure despite changes to inlet pressure.
